Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation and implementation of attitudes of independence and social care in the implementation of the extracurricular School Security Patrol at SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research are that SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar has made efforts to strengthen the character of independence and social awareness through the implementation of the extracurricular School Security Patrol (PKS). Implementation of the extracurricular School Security Patrol (PKS) which includes activities providing traffic services, coaching and introducing traffic signs, coaching and introducing traffic regulations. In carrying out these activities, the character of independence and social care can be developed in the extracurricular members of the School Security Patrol (PKS) at SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta. One of the activities carried out by extracurricular members of the School Security Patrol (PKS) is carrying out city clean-ups and taking part in zero exhaust activities carried out by the Karanganyar Police.
