Abstract

This study explores the development of cognitive abilities in early childhood education (PAUD-TK) through the introduction of basic geometric shapes using an Android-based application created with Construct 3. Early childhood is a critical period for cognitive development, where foundational skills such as shape recognition can significantly impact later learning. The application designed in this study leverages interactive and engaging activities to introduce young learners to basic geometric shapes. By utilizing the features of Construct 3, the application offers an intuitive interface that is tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 4-6 years. The study aims to assess the effectiveness of this approach in enhancing shape recognition and overall cognitive skills. The findings indicate that children exposed to this method demonstrate improved understanding of geometric concepts and better cognitive performance. This research underscores the potential of technology in early education, particularly in supporting cognitive development through interactive and accessible learning tools.
