Abstract
The creative economy has great potential to address the short- and medium-term economic challenges we currently face. The creative industry is a part of the development of the creative economy by making a significant contribution to the economic growth of a country. Currently, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) are the main contributors to driving national economic growth. Pemalang Regency ranks eighth in the number of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Central Java Province. The three main subsectors of the creative industry in Pemalang Regency include the culinary subsector with pineapple-based snacks, the fashion subsector with goyor sarongs, and the craft subsector with handwritten batik. The introduced industrial products can become the main pillars for realizing the flagship program of Pemalang Regency, known as the City of Industry (KOIN). The City of Industry program, which has been implemented, does not yet have a center that functions as a hub for creative industry players to introduce products, market to the public, and interact with each other. The Creative Industry Center serves as a center for creative industry players to explore creativity and develop their flagship products, as well as a permanent location for the annual events for UMKM. Creative industry players and UMKM actively follow the times and utilize the latest technology to continue innovating to create new works in their fields. The result of the design is a contemporary building that accommodates creative activities, allowing for the creation of products with the latest value in the creative industry. This design is adapted to the changing era and follows current trends, in line with creative ideas that continue to evolve over time to produce new works.
