Abstract
Changes in land use are essentially unavoidable when development is carried out. An area that has sufficient land to support changes in land use, such as the development of restaurants and tourist attractions, is the main factor influencing these changes. The aim of this research itself is to analyze changes in land use in Kayen District, Pati Regency in 2016 and 2020, analyzing important factors that can trigger changes in land use in Kayen District, Pati Regency in 2016 and 2020. This research uses data analysis methods secondary uses images and analyzes maps using the comparative method, in taking samples in this research using Purposive Sampling. Changes in land use in Kayen District in 2016 and 2020 saw changes in settlements which increased by 17.83 Ha, livestock increased by 14.16 Ha, paddy fields increased by 161.07 Ha, ponds increased by 32.8 Ha, and swamps increased by 125.58 Ha. Land changes between 2016 and 2020 also experienced a decrease in upland area of 345.14 Ha. Factors that influence land change in Kayen District are population factors (population growth and density), socio-economic facility factors.
