Abstract
This research discusses the design of the Pati Mental Disorders Rehabilitation Center with a Holistic Architecture Approach as a response to the increasing cases of mental health disorders in Pati Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The use of a holistic approach in designing this building aims to create an environment that supports comprehensive recovery for individuals who experience mental disorders. This research is based on the high number of cases of mental health disorders in Pati and the factors that trigger mental disorders, such as chronic stress, psychological trauma, genetic factors, biological imbalances, social factors and unhealthy lifestyles. Apart from that, negative stigma and societal discrimination against mental disorders are also obstacles in handling these cases. The lack of mental health service providers in Pati is also a serious problem that needs to be resolved. The research objective is to design a Mental Disorders Rehabilitation Center that meets health, safety and security standards, and takes into account the functional, aesthetic and welfare needs of users. By making the Rehabilitation Center building a public facility that emphasizes Holistic Architecture, which supports the therapy and rehabilitation process for individuals with mental disorders and increases public awareness about mental health.
