Abstract

Bledug Kuwu, a unique natural phenomenon, is one of the main attractions of Kuwu Village in Kradenan District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java. The phenomenon occurs when mud suddenly gushes up from the ground, creating an amazing sight. Bledug Kuwu has great potential to be developed into a prominent tourist attraction in Grobogan Regency due to its strategic location and the unique mudflow phenomenon that has been going on since hundreds of years ago, a privilege that other regions in Indonesia do not have. With unique geological and natural phenomena that are mesmerizing. To optimize this tourism potential, the design of an integrated and environmentally sound tourist area is very important. Therefore Designing Bledug Kuwu Geopark Tourism Area with Geotourism Approach as an effort to conserve Bledug Kuwu. The research methods used include literature study, field observation, data analysis, and design of design concepts. The geotourism architecture approach is applied by considering geological characteristics, tourism potential, and visitor needs. Design concept design concept includes area zoning, supporting infrastructure, tourist facilities, and landscape elements that are harmonious with the surrounding environment. In the process of designing this Geopark based on regulations and architectural design standards and geotourism parameters.
