Abstract
Water tax management is an important aspect in the administrative setting of a region, but often still faces challenges in recording and managing it. In Jlobong Hamlet, Pusporenggo Village, Boyolali Regency, the recording and management of water tax is done manually. This process is prone to errors, delays in recording, and loss of valuable data. This research aims to overcome these problems by developing a web-based information system for water tax management. Data collection methods involved interviews, observations, and literature studies. Furthermore, system development was conducted using the waterfall method, with stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using PHP programming language with Laravel Filament framework and MySQL as the database. The result is a water tax information system that allows water tax officers to record water bills, manage resident data, export financial data, and can print resident payment receipts. System testing conducted using the black box method shows that the system works well functionally. The System Usability Scale (SUS) testing method to evaluate the performance and quality of the system and get an average score of 71 is in grade scale D with Adjective Ratings Good, the system is still considered acceptable and quite usable by users.
