Abstract
The film Rumput Tetangga raises a story about a family, conflict between friends, and conflict within oneself so that it contains a moral message that can be learned. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the representation of the moral message in the film Rumput Tetangga. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The paradigm in this study uses the Constructivism Paradigm, because the Constructivism paradigm is a paradigm that is considered more relevant when used to explain the object to be studied. The data validity technique in this study is to strengthen the data validity test, the researcher will conduct a credibility test by discussing with colleagues and supervisors. This study uses triangulation data validity. Then this study uses Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The results of this study show the representation of interpersonal moral messages about self-confidence and gratitude in order to avoid regret in the future according to the implied message in the film Rumput Tetangga.
