Abstract
Early marriage is a phenomenon that often occurs in Indonesia. The rise of early marriage in Indonesia is caused by several factors including educational, economic and parental problems. In general, marriages are carried out by people who are of mature age for marriage, but marriages that occur before they are mature will have many consequences. The consequences of early marriage include health problems, economic problems, and even divorce at a young age. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the sample used is a purposive sampling method, namely the chairman and head of the PIK-R Putra Mandiri Institute. In an effort to prevent early marriage, the Sonokulon Village government formed the PIK-R Putra Mandiri Institute to hold outreach, counseling and providing education. With the socialization carried out, the number of early marriages has decreased.
