Abstract
This study aims to test and analyze the effect of current ratio, time interest earned ratio, total asset turnover, and net profit margin on profit changes in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. Population in this study are energy sector campanies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. Sampling was done by purposive sampling and 16 companies were selected. The number of samples during the period 2018-2022 is 80 samples (16 companies x 5 years). With outliers as many as 36 samples, the samples is 44 for this study. Data analysis with multiple regression analysis which has previously been tested for classical assumptions. The results of this study indicated that the variables current ratio and time interest earned ratio have no effect on profit changes. Meanwhile, the variables total asset turnover and net profit margin have effect on profit changes.
