Abstract

Mangunegara Village in Mrebet Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency, has significant potential in the fisheries sector, making it part of the Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) program since early 2023. The implementation of the SFV program is tailored to the village's potential, including the establishment of the SFV Mangunegara Tourist Site in March 2023. This site aims to introduce the SFV program and the village's potential while advancing the local economy. However, there are still shortcomings that require further development. The goal of this development is to make SFV Mangunegara a sustainable fisheries education tourism destination and to introduce the SFV program to the community. The methods used include comparative studies, literature reviews, data analysis, and the application of design concepts related to the development of educational fisheries tourism. The design results include a village tourism concept that integrates all SFV clusters into a village tour, as well as the addition of facilities and infrastructure to support the tour. The development of the educational fisheries tourism site involves zoning buildings based on function, using wood elements as architectural and structural concepts, utilizing natural lighting and ventilation, integrating fisheries with agriculture, and sustainable water and fisheries management. SFV Mangunegara is expected to become an attractive and informative tourism destination, providing recreational and educational experiences, while supporting the SFV program in developing the fisheries sector of Mangunegara Village.
