Abstract

Using an automatic water tap system can minimize air waste. Every bathroom or toilet usually only uses a manual water tap to fill the bathtub with air. This means that the air filling in the tub is not measured properly. Therefore, the aim of this research is to create an automatic water tap system that makes it easier for users to fill the bathtub with air. This tool uses an ESP 32 as a microcontroller, an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor as an air level detector in both showers, a DS18B20 temperature sensor as an air temperature detector, and a YF-S201 water flow sensor as an air volume detector. The exhaust system uses an MG996 servo to circulate air. Apart from that, this tool is equipped with an SD-Card module which allows the user to check tub water usage. The results of testing the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor showed an average distance error of 2 cm with an error percentage of 1.47%. Then, in testing the DS18B20 sensor, the average temperature error was 2.7 °C with an error percentage of 1.125%. Then on the YF-S201 waterflow sensor the average error obtained was 0.014% with an error percentage of 0.025%, therefore this automatic water tap system can overcome air waste caused by all users. able to determine the known temperature of the water in the bathtub, so that it can be the ideal temperature for bathing for healthy skin and hair and is also able to detect the volume/flow of water.
