Abstract
Tilt Cylinder is a hydraulic system actuator in the form of a cylinder located in the Bucket section. The tilt cylinder function is to lift and lower material. Bucket components include ball bearings, cylinder heads, piston rods, pistons, piston seals, brake bushings. The bucket movement system is regulated by the in and out valves found on the control valve. Fluid will flow from the out valve and press the piston. This analysis aims to determine the redesign of the tilt cylinder wheel loader XGMA XG955H, analyze and calculate the forces on the cylinder arm, find out how to redesign the tilt cylinder wheel loader XGMA XG955H. The implementation was carried out by visually inspecting the hydraulic bucket and continuing with disassembly to determine the redesign of the Tilt Cylinder. Based on observations after the disassembly process, namely by measuring the dimensions using a caliper on the tilt cylinder, designing the tilt cylinder components using solid work applications and calculating what happens to pump pressure, total hydraulic oil volume, flow rate, force on the XGMA wheel loader tilt cylinder XG955H.
