Abstract
Security is very important, especially in protecting valuables in boarding houses. Technology can be used to provide optimal protection. Reports of lost items often disturb boarding house owners. One technology that can be used is an RFID-based door security system, which replaces manual locks which are less efficient because conventional keys are easily lost during use, making this system less practical and vulnerable to theft. Based on this problem, the idea emerged to research and develop a door security system using IoT-based RFID and ESP32-CAM. This system uses RFID sensors to detect and identify RFID tags that have access. Data from the RFID is forwarded to the ESP32 microcontroller, which then sends commands to the buzzer and ESP32-CAM. When access is successful, the buzzer sounds and the ESP32-CAM takes a picture. IoT is used to monitor door access remotely using a smartphone. This tool has worked as planned. RFID detects data from the RFID tag and sends it to the ESP32 for processing. After that, ESP32 sends a command to the relay to open the door lock solenoid. The door opens, the buzzer lights up, and the I2C LCD displays the message "access successful." Next, the ESP32-CAM takes pictures and sends notifications to the user via the Telegram application. The MPU6050 sensor is active when the acceleration is above 10 m/s², detects when the door is opened illegally or a suspicious vibration occurs, the buzzer sounds and the ESP32-CAM takes a picture, then sends a notification to the user via Telegram. Based on testing, RFID detects tags at a distance of 0-3 cm, and the MPU6050 works at accelerations above 10 m/s². This IoT system allows users to open doors from smartphones, when the door opens or closes, a notification is sent to the user.
