Abstract

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize one's own feelings and the feelings of others, motivate oneself, and how a person can manage emotions well in oneself and in maintaining relationships with other people. The components of emotional intelligence consist of self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. This research aims to determine the level of emotional intelligence of SSB Ganesha Putra FC Purwodadi students. This research is a descriptive research. The method in this research uses a survey method with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire. The population in this study was 42 SSB Ganesha Putra FC U-15 students. The number of samples in this research was 30 students. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling with predetermined criteria. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis expressed in percentage form with the help of SPSS for Windows software. Based on the results of data analysis, descriptions, testing research results, and discussions, it can be concluded that the level of emotional intelligence of SSB Ganesha Putra FC U-15 students in the "very high" category is 0% (0 students), the "high" category is 43, 3% (13 students), the "medium" category was 16.7% (5 students), the "low" category was 30.0% (9 students), and the "very low" category was 10.0% (3 students) . Based on the average score, namely 130.63, the level of emotional intelligence of SSB Ganesha Putra FC U-15 students is in the "medium" category.
