Abstract
The era of globalization that is increasingly developing, the internet has become something important in everyday life. Almost everyone knows the internet. With the internet, access to information becomes easier and faster. The large number of internet users in Indonesia makes it a very good market for the online buying and selling industry. Online buying and selling provides convenience and comfort because online shopping allows consumers to shop anytime and anywhere without having to travel from home. This saves a lot of time and energy, especially for those who have busy schedules. Along with the increasing number of online buying and selling, the number of users of goods delivery services has increased. In the delivery of goods, it is inseparable from the problems that occur in the delivery process. The problem that often occurs is that there are houses that are often abandoned by their owners. This incident results in there being no recipients of the package at home, which makes the delivery service confused. In this problem, usually the delivery service takes alternative action by leaving the package with the nearest neighbor or the package can be delivered the next day. So from this problem, in this design a remote control and monitoring system will be created, namely an IoT-based package recipient box using the main component of the ESP8266 Microcontroller to connect the system with the Telegram chatbot. In this design, the system can send notifications from ESP8266 to Telegram chatbot or vice versa, which are displayed on the LCD screen. This system can also take pictures using ESP32-Cam which will later be sent to users via Telegram chatbot as a monitoring of package items in the package box. Users can also control the lock or open system via Telegram chatbot connected to ESP8266 to drive the servo motor. This servo motor is used as a key slot driver. From the results of this design, the ESP8266 microcontroller and ESP32-cam can be connected to a Wi-Fi network and receive a fairly good response from the Telegram chatbot.
