Abstract
The increasing development of the construction industry in Indonesia, supported by the development of the National Capital City (IKN)and several goverment infrastructure developments, makes research into characteristik of concrete is necessary. This research into the characteristics of concrete, namely compressive strength and modulus elasticity of normal concrete using digital and manual system UTM test data reading methods. Concrete mix planning based on the American Concrete Institute (ACI) uses constituent materials in the form of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, cement and water with a design compressive strength of 20 MPa, 22,5 MPa and 25 MPa. The test object is a cylinder measuring 150 mm x 300 mm. The samples use for thid test were 10 samples for each plan quality. The results of testing the compressive strength values of concrete with digital UTM and manual UTM f’cr 20 MPa is 20,041 MPa and 20,903 MPa, f’cr 22,5 MPa is 23,395 MPa and 23,964 MPa, f’cr 25 MPa is 27,664 MPa and 27,133 MPa. In general, the compressive strength test results with manual UTM are higher than the test results with digital UTM. The value of the modulus elasticity of concrete by reading graph of digital UTM and manual UTM test results f’cr 20 MPa is 16301,317 MPa and 15801,541 MPa, f’cr 22,5 MPa is 22661,765 MPa and 19906,802 MPa, f’cr 25 MPa is 23694,836 MPa and 21623,260 MPa. The modulus of elasticity value is found using the SNI 4700.√f'c formula based on the compressive strength value of the digital UTM and manual UTM test results for f’cr 20 MPa is 19251,605 MPa and 21478,819 MPa, f’cr 22,5 MPa is 22713,691 MPa and 22964,670 MPa, f’cr 25 MPa is 24720,325 MPa and 24207,102 MPa. In general, the modulus of elasticity value for concrete from reading the digital UTM graph is closer to the modulus of elasticity value from the SNI 4700.√f'c formula.
