Abstract
Crisis communication is how an organization or company takes action when faced with an unexpected situation experienced by the company or organization. In early March 2023, PT Pertamina's Plumpang Pertamina Depot experienced a fire incident that resulted in material losses and casualties. This research aims to find out the response of PT Pertamina in responding to the Plumpang Pertamina Depot fire crisis. This research uses the crisis response category with Situational Crisis Communication (SCCT) theory. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a content analysis approach to news published on online media Detik.com and Kompas.com. Of the 45 news articles analyzed, researchers found that the compensation response was most widely used by PT Pertamina in responding to the crisis.
