Anger is one of the common emotions found in society and everyone has experienced it. One of the attitudes and behaviors that individuals show when angry is aggressive behavior. Anger management is needed to reduce aggressiveness when individuals are angry so as not to harm themselves and others. The purpose of this study is to explain what and how anger management strategies are carried out by students who behave aggressively, as well as the factors that influence them. This research uses qualitative research. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The informants in this study are 3 male / female students aged 18-22 years who behave aggressively when angry. The data collection method used in this study used semi-structured interviews. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis. This study reveals the understanding and management strategies of angry emotions in students who behave aggressively. Management strategies include physical activity, self-reflection, and communication with others. The implementation of anger management has a positive impact such as increasing psychological well-being and reducing aggressive behavior, as well as other impacts for one subject, namely dizziness, confusion, and thinking about more things. Factors that influence anger management come from internal and external factors such as mood and understanding from the surrounding environment, but there are also barriers such as unsupportive social interactions.
