Abstract

This research examines educational methods for gifted children from an Islamic perspective. The presence of gifted children demands a special approach in education to maximize their potential holistically, in accordance with Islamic values and principles. The main objective of this research is to identify educational methods that are in accordance with Islamic teachings to develop the talents and intelligence of gifted children. The research methodology used a qualitative approach by conducting a literature study to explore Islamic principles relevant to the education of gifted children. The data were thematically analyzed to identify patterns and main themes related to educational methods that are in accordance with the Islamic perspective. The results showed that the education of gifted children from an Islamic perspective requires the integration of challenging academic approaches with learning centered on Islamic spiritual and moral values. The methods taught by the Prophet and the teachings of the Qur'an can also be adapted to meet the needs of gifted children in the modern educational context. This research contributes to filling the knowledge gap on the education of gifted children in the Islamic context, as well as providing practical guidance for educators and parents in developing the potential of gifted children in accordance with religious teachings.
