Abstract

This research aims to find out how to utilize the wealth of social media on the @ketimbang.ngemis.soloo account through the content presented so that the message in the content can convey its aims and objectives clearly. The results of the research conclude that the use of social media by the Instagram account @ketimbang.ngemis.soloo has met the criteria in accordance with media richness theory through delivering messages quickly and regularly which allows for feedback (freshness), diversity of signals by utilizing image and video features on Instagram social media and packaged using words, numbers and background uploads that are considered to represent the needs of a noble figure, the language variations shown by the @ketimbang.ngemis.soloo account are carried out by utilizing the highlight feature on Instagram to group the information being shared, so that the message in the information can be in accordance with the content, as well as the personal source of the @ketimbang account .ngemis.soloo was built with content that does not seem to sell sadness, but is more focused on the urgency of the recipient of the benefit or donation.
