Abstract

This study raises the case from the Industry Office regarding expanding opportunities with the intention of studying and analyzing the concept of expanding employment opportunities in Sukoharjo Regent Regulation No.6 of 2017. And the effectiveness of the Sukoharjo District Office of Industry and Labor in expanding employment opportunities. Researchers used empirical juridical research methods by obtaining data in the form of interviews with representatives of the Sukoharjo Regency Industry Office in particular. The researcher obtained the research results that the Concept of Expansion of Job Opportunities in Sukoharjo Regent Regulation No. 67 of 2017 stipulates that local governments and community institutions make efforts to open new jobs or add to existing jobs. The aim is to use available resources (including people, community institutions, and technology) to build long-lasting job opportunities. policies that are proven to have a positive impact on people who need jobs by opening up opportunities for expanding employment because regardless of special criteria anyone can and deserves to get a job as desired and every citizen has the right to live by doing his job.
