Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine (1) Strategies for Improving the Quality of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education Learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen for the 2023 Academic Year, (2) To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for strategies for improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen 2023, (3) To determine the impact of strategies to improve the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education and Character at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen 2023. This type of research is qualitative research and uses a case study approach. This research was carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen. Data collection techniques at this stage are through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses qualitative analysis and is carried out interactively, continuously until completion.The results of the research conducted by the author can be stated that the strategies used by PAI teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen are expository strategies and active knowledge sharing, these two strategies are combined with drill, question and answer and memorization methods. The supporting factors in improving the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education and Character include; (1) parents, (2) teachers, (3) Community and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors include; (1) lack of self-awareness of each individual student, (2) lack of motivation from the parents of each individual student. The impact of the strategy to improve the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education and Character is: (1) student achievement such as class champions and also having memorized provisions, (2) behavior when speaking softly and calmly, (3) discipline, responsibility, humble and optimistic, (4) students' character becomes better, they have good skills, and they can control their emotions.
