Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-determination and family economic status on vocational school students' career decision making. This research included 207 class X students at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The instruments in this research are scales and open questionnaires. The analysis used is multiple regression using the SPSS 26.0 program. The hypothesis in this research is that there is a relationship between self-determination and career decision making, a relationship between family economic status on student career decision making and a relationship between self-determination and family economic status on career decision making. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between self-determination and career decision making based on a significance result of 0.000 and there is relationship between family economic status and career decision making based on a significance result of 0,002 and 0.009. And there is a relationship between self-determination and family economic status on career decision making with a significance value of 0.000.
