Abstract

To determine the effectiveness of the development of web-based and conventional e-learning media on the level of student learning success. This research was conducted at SMP N 4 Boyolali using research and development methods. (R&D). Data analysis techniques include media expert tests, material expert tests, validity and reliability tests and hypothetical tests of research results show. The product currently being developed is a media that contains information and communication technology materials. Can be accessed anywhere so that it can make it easier for students to learn. The product also contains all materials about information and communication that can be downloaded and stored by students. Product also helps in assessing learning outcomes so that it can assist teachers in assessing student learning outcomes. Then the research model used is the R and D model. This application is called feasible because it has been proven based on the results of research addressed to several experts and the results of hypothesis tests, Based on the results of the hypothesis test of different learning outcomes by providing web-based e-learning media and classes using only conventional learning shows a GIS value (0.004) < 0.05 meaning that there is a cynical difference between learning outcomes and the provision of web-based e-learning media and classes only using conventional learning Based on the mean value, it shows that the provision of web-based e-learning media can provide a mean value of 50.5994 > from classes with conventional learning, which is 35.8532. This means that the provision of web-based e-learning media is more effective in improving learning outcomes compared to conventional learning.
