Abstract

Health communication has become indispensable for disseminating information and educating individuals about health-related issues. Many diseases that appear make the importance of health communication in providing vital information and education. This research aims to investigate the utilization Instagram in seeking and fulfilling health information needs. Methods a qualitative approach, data were gathered through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation with documentation instrument through content on the @pandemictalks Instagram account. Finding reveal that individuals turn to social media platforms for health information due to the prevailing health concerns in today’s era. Moreover, the presence of the @pandemictalks Instagram account facilitates and simplifies the resolution of health-related issues for the public.
