Abstract

Tasya Farasya is an influencer in the beauty sector, as well as the owner of a beauty brand which has a lot of activity on social media, especially Instagram. With more than six million followers, Tasya Farasya's Instagram account is not only a place to share content about beauty, but also a place where she shapes and manages her self-image. This research aims to discuss three personal branding concepts according to Montoya and Vandehey that Tasya Farasya has on the social media Instagram. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with random sampling. The data was then analyzed using descriptive analysis and discourse analysis in accordance with personal branding theory. The research results show that Tasya Farasya has three personal branding concepts which are used as topics of discussion. Tasya Farasya emerged with her expertise in dressing up, arranging clothes, reviewing products, promoting products, and successfully launching her own personal brand. Tasya Farasya's assessment of a product is often a benchmark for people's buying interest due to the high level of trust in Tasya Farasya, this makes Tasya a role model in the beauty industry. Tasya's humorous personality and the team's skill in packaging content really support personal branding by creating entertainment that makes the audience want to continue following Tasya Farasya's content. Through these three personal branding concepts, audiences can assess Tasya Farasya as a positive figure.
