Abstract
The increase in population growth rate in Bogor City in 2013 and 2023 amounted to 5.51%, resulting in land conversion from vegetated land to built-up land. Land conversion from vegetated land to built-up land can cause an increase in temperature. The purpose of this research is to analyze land cover change and LST change in Bogor City in 2013 and 2023, and analyze the relationship between land cover change and LST change. The method used is survey method and data analysis with descriptive quantitative. Correlation test was conducted to determine the relationship between land cover change and LST change. The results of this study are land cover change with a decrease in the area of water bodies by 11.97 ha and vegetation land by 1,639.99 ha, and an increase in the area of built-up land by 1,65.96 ha. Changes in LST occur due to an increase in temperature caused by changes in land cover. Based on the results of the correlation test, water bodies and vegetated land are land cover that leads negatively, meaning that the lower the area of vegetated land and water bodies, the higher the LST, and vice versa. The direction of the positive relationship is found in the change of built-up land with LST changes, which means that the higher the area of built-up land, the higher the LST, and vice versa.
