Abstract

The Special Heart Hospital is a hospital that provides medical services and treatment for the community in the process of healing heart and blood vessel diseases. The design he made was a special heart hospital using a healing environment approach in Salatiga. The reason for choosing this location, apart from being a location that is in accordance with the Salatiga City RTRW in the Health sector, is also because a good site view around the location can support the patient's healing process. The application of the Healing Environment concept is applied through 5 criteria, namely sight, hearing, touch, spiritual readability, and psychology. This article is based on typology studies, precedent studies, and context studies prepared through the Architectural Final Project Design studio. The results of the research in the form of a design with the application of healing environment principles (color, lighting/air conditioning, view/scenery, texture, sound/noise control, aroma, and art) are expected to provide a positive response and psychological support to all users of the cardiac service building.
