Abstract
The advancement of technology presents a difficulty in meeting the community's demand for greater education offerings that match higher standards. SDN 02 Sijeruk is one of the schools that has not installed an academic information system to facilitate academic data processing, nonetheless, a Basic Education Data System (Dapodik) exists, but only school administrators have access to it. The goal of this study is to create a web-based academic information system that simplifies academic data management and can be accessed by a variety of school stakeholders. Several prior studies have provided insight into the development of similar systems, but this study focuses on additional elements aimed to increase data management efficiency, such as grade progression, student graduation, and instructor assignment management. This Academic Information System (AIS) was created utilizing the Laravel Framework and a MySQL database. The agile System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model was used as the study methodology. The agile technique is adopted due to its development strategy, which allows for adjustments at any time. This strategy enhances software quality by using an iterative and user-centered development cycle, as well as continuous testing to uncover early flaws and issues. The findings of blackbox testing demonstrate that the system is functional and user-acceptable. The SUS test results with 30 participants yielded a score of 83, indicating that the system is good and acceptable.
