Abstract
This research examines the role of South Korean dramas on the speaking styles of students at the K.H. International Student Islamic Boarding School. Mas Mansur Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This research aims to find out how the role of South Korean dramas changes the speaking style in daily activities at the K.H. International Student Islamic Boarding School. Mas Mansur. The research method used in this research is qualitative research by determining the sample of informants using snowball sampling. The data collection technique used by researchers was semi-structured interviews. This research uses Albert Bandura's modeling theory. This research shows that South Korean dramas play a role in changing the speaking style of students at the K.H. International Student Islamic Boarding School. Mas Mansur UMS. These results are viewed from four subsystems, including 1) Attention process 2) Retention process 3) Behavior production process 4) Motivation and reinforcement process. Thus, this research also discusses how informants' speaking styles change as a result of the South Korean drama roles that the informants consume.
