Abstract
PlusNexus is a startup office that operates in the field of developing Android-based mobile applications. At this time the PlusNexus office does not yet have an information system for accepting new employees. PlusNexus still uses a manual system, including still receiving application files directly such as applicants' Curriculum Vitae (CV) in the form of physical documents, making interview schedules via WhatsApp (WA), of course this will cause several problems, including the applicant's data being easily lost and damaged so that making the recruitment process not run smoothly. This research aims to develop a web-based employee recruitment information system for PlusNexus. System development in this research uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the waterfall model as the approach, with systematic stages starting from needs analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The development of this system was carried out using PHP as the main programming language by utilizing the Laravel framework, and using MySQL database management. The results obtained from this research are a web-based recruitment information system to facilitate the recruitment process for offices and applicants. The system test results using Blackbox show that all system features run and function well as expected, and the system usability scale (SUS) test results obtained a score of 72, which means it got the Acceptable category so the system is suitable for use.
