Abstract
The development of an era is characterized by the emergence of various social media developments, the development of social media can be utilized by the community to facilitate daily needs such as the emergence of MiChat social media which is used by the community for easier, practical communication, and has various interesting features such as people nearby which users use to find other users. However, the development of social media does not deny the abuse of the benefits of these media, community abuse such as the criminal act of economic exploitation of children by minors who are still in the jurisdiction of the Curup District Court with case verdict number 4/Pid.Sus-Anak 2021/PN Crp with the charge of Article 76I jo Article 88 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. The purpose of this study is to determine the consideration of Judges in examining and deciding cases of criminal acts of economic exploitation of children by child actors through MiChat media in the Curup District Court using a doctrinal approach method. The results showed that the judge considered the norms, doctrines and juridical in the elements of the article charged to NS as the defendant, and connected the judge's consideration with Islamic law.
