Abstract

Rubber plantations play an important role in Indonesia's agricultural sector. In this rapidly digitalizing era, improving operational efficiency is a must. Proper management of payroll and rubber inventory systems is key to improving the productivity and sustainability of the agricultural sector, especially rubber plantations. Currently, many rubber plantations in Indonesia, especially rubber plantations owned by individual farmers, still face obstacles in implementing information technology to support their operations. This study records the design and implementation of a web-based system that will be applied to Mr. Dwi Haryanto's rubber plantation. The system is designed with the main objectives of automating the payroll process, reducing the time required for rubber inventory management, and improving operational transparency. This web-based rubber plantation payroll and management system is designed using the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) method of the waterfall model. The process of making this system is supported by the use of the Laravel framework, PHP as a programming language, and MySQL as a database server. With this system, it is expected to be able to help the payroll process, shorten inventory management time, and increase operational transparency of Mr. Dwi Haryanto's rubber plantation. This system has been tested using two tests at once, namely blackbox testing and System Usability Scale (SUS). Testing with the blackbox method produces a good assessment of each input and output of the system, while the SUS test got a score of 83 with a rating of B, which can be concluded that the system meets expectations.
