Abstract

The need for concrete in various developments in the field of civil engineering is increasing rapidly. Concrete is widely used because it is easy to find the ingredients that make up concrete, besides that concrete also has good strength. The concrete additives used today are increasingly varied, to obtain better quality concrete at more economical costs. One of them is cement substitution using fly ash and fine aggregate substitution using glass waste, as well as innovation by adding superplasticizer to improve concrete quality to optimum. The experimental method used was a variation of fly ash of 7.5% and 15% of the total weight of cement, a variation of broken glass waste of 10% of the weight of fine aggregate, and the addition of 0.5% superplasticizer. The total number of test objects made was 28 samples, with cylinder sizes of 15 x 30 cm and 10 x 20 cm. It is planned to have a lifespan of 14 and 28 days. The highest value of the compressive strength test results was in the BNKFS 2 sample with variations of 15% fly ash, 10% glass waste, and 0.5% superplasticizer of 30.20 MPa in 14 day concrete and 35.20 MPa . in 28 day concrete. The highest modulus value was found in the BNKFS 2 sample, namely 28963 MPa in 14 day concrete and 30576 MPa in 28 day concrete. Apart from that, the lowest absorption value with a value of 2.64% was also found in the BNKFS 2 sample. The results of this test showed that the elastic modulus and compressive strength values increased when using variations of 15% fly ash, 10% glass waste, and 0.5% superplasticizer. Apart from that, it can also reduce the water absorption value of concrete.
