Abstract
This research is motivated by the phenomenon of changes in student behavior in the current era, namely student morals. Moral education is a top priority in the current era when it comes to educating children. As has been done by SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta to strive and create graduates who have good morals by implementing the Islamic Adab Bina halaqah program. This research aims to describe the implementation of moral education using the halaqah method in the Bina Adab Islami program, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of moral education using the halaqah method in the Bina Adab Islami program at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta. The type of research used is field research, and uses a phenomenological approach. Collecting research data by observation, interviews and documentation. The research results showed that the implementation of the Islamic Adab Development program at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta was carried out using the halaqah method, had 3 types of competency targets, namely the development of faith, morals, worship, and had an output, namely student monitoring sheets. Then, the supporting factor is full support from elders, Muhammadiyah branch leaders, all educational staff, parents and students. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the school's lack of space and limited teacher resources.
