Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of micro teaching learning, perceptions of the teaching profession, and family environment on interest in becoming a teacher. This research uses associative quantitative methods. This population consists of 76 students of the UMS Accounting Education Study Program class of 2020. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire measured on a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that 1) Micro teaching learning partially has no significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher, 2) Perceptions of the Teacher Profession partially have no significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher, 3) Family environment partially has a significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher with a value, 4) Simultaneously micro teaching learning, perceptions of the teaching profession, and family environment have a significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher.
