Abstract
Indonesia has natural beauty that has the potential to attract tourists and bring in foreign exchange for the country. Samarinda is a city located in East Kalimantan province and is the capital of East Kalimantan Province. There are various types of tourism in Samarinda City, including nature tourism, cultural tourism, traditional tourism, recreational tourism, and religious tourism. In order to support tourism in Samarinda City, supporting facilities and infrastructure are needed, one of which is a hotel. As time goes by, hotels also experience development. Currently, many hotels are carrying a modern concept and also carrying a theme according to what they want to show to users. Redesigning the Bina Rahayu Hotel by implementing green architecture is an option that can meet the hotel's needs and is also an effort to protect the
