Abstract
The Kendeng Mountains are one of the karst areas that stretch across the northern part of Java Island. Kendeng Karst is divided into two mountain ranges, namely the North Limestone Mountains (North Kendeng) and the South Kendeng Mountains (South Kendeng). The karst area of the Kendeng Mountains has the potential for C excavation mining so that the area cannot be separated from exploration efforts for mining activities. Mining activities occurred in the Akunharjo District, Grobogan Regency with the establishment of the PT Semen Grobogan cement factory which will operate commercially in January 2022. Mining activities have had an impact on the community and the environment, such as damage to karst areas, loss of agricultural land and water sources. The existence of mining activities also creates different perceptions of society. The objectives of this research are, 1) Analyzing the impact of karst environmental damage based on changes in land use and runoff values that occur as a result of karst mining in Tulisaharjo District, Grobogan Regency, 2) Analyzing community perceptions of the existence of karst mining in Tulisharjo District, Grobogan Regency. . The method used is digitizing image maps for 2017 and 2024 and calculating run-off coefficient values to determine the impact of environmental damage as well as interviews with the community. The results of the research were changes in land use of 125.84 ha which increased the run off coefficient value. An increase in the run off coefficient value is an indicator of karst environmental damage, an increase of 3.81% was caused by changes in land cover due to human and mining activities. Community perception of the impact of environmental damage and community participation in preventing damage shows positive values, whereas not all people feel the economic impact.
