Abstract

The northern coastal area of Java in Kramat District, Tegal Regency has experienced tidal flooding which is likely to become more widespread in the future, so it is necessary to model the area of inundation at various heights. The aim of modeling is to determine the distribution of inundated areas and the extent of flooding. The modeling is intended to identify areas of tidal flood inundation so that safe areas can be identified to determine temporary evacuation sites (TES) when a tidal flood disaster occurs. The method for determining the extent of flooding and the extent of inundation uses a Geographic Information System in the form ofNeighbourhood Operation on the processIteration, meanwhile to determine the TES based on the results of the modeling scenario with interpretation of the inundation distribution map results. Results of processing with software ArcGIS shows that the scenario with the largest inundation area is in the 150 cm sea level rise scenario, namely 556.39 ha, while the smallest area is in the 50 cm scenario, namely 280.62 ha. The difference between the highest and lowest inundation areas is 275.75 ha or around 98.12%. Dampyak Village has 6 TES with a maximum total capacity of around 17.900 people, while Manjung Agung Village has 2 TES with a maximum capacity of around 2,900 people.
