Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe how the shoe and leather bag craft business takes place, how the mechanism of making products and how the coordination of the work of leather craftsmen in the leather center on Jalan Sawo Magetan. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive. The subjects in this study were leather center business owners and employees at the leather center Jalan Sawo Magetan. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Researchers use source triangulation to guarantee the wetness of their data and draw conclusions or verification. The results of this study are 1. In business continuity must pay attention to aspects, namely The initial step is business planning starting from determining the location, buildings, capital, tools and materials then there is spending on raw materials, marketing is usually done one week, product development of shoes and leather bags by prioritizing contemporary models. 2. In the mechanism of manufacturing shoe products and leather bags using a conveyor belt (laponde band). The average leather center is able to produce as many as 280-290 leather products in one week. 3. In work coordination, placing and distributing tasks appropriately and purposefully in order to create superior products in accordance with the capabilities possessed by craftsmen, supervise and direct employees to maintain quality production mechanisms. To maintain production targets, each leather center owner evaluates the performance of his employees so that they can improve better and there are no mistakes in producing shoe products and leather bags.
