Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between Self-Efficacy and Social Support and Student Work Readiness. This research method uses quantitative correlational. The sample in this study consisted of 150 students taking the 7th semester study period and above. The research measuring instrument uses 3 scales, namely the student work readiness scale, self-efficacy scale, and social support scale. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression techniques. The results of the research that has been carried out show the results of the major hypothesis test with a value of R=0.886 and a value of Sig. (0.000), meaning that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and social support and student work readiness. The results of the minor hypothesis test 1 show that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and student work readiness and grades (r=0.857; Sig. 0.000). Then, the results of hypothesis 2 testing show that there is a positive and significant relationship between social support and students' work readiness and grades (r=0.844; Sig. 0.000). So it can be concluded that the major and minor hypotheses can be accepted. The effective contribution in this study was found to be 78.64%, with self-efficacy providing an effective contribution of 43.02% and social support providing an effective contribution of 35.62% to students' work readiness, while the remaining 21.36% was influenced by factors other.
