Abstract
The Wirausaha Merdeka Program report discusses a series of activities carried out by the author while implementing the program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This program is an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Culture which aims to ignite the spirit and entrepreneurial mindset in order to create student entrepreneurs in Indonesia and increase the capacity and quality of university graduates in order to create superior and competitive human resources. In addition, it is hoped that more young entrepreneurs will come up with creative and innovative new business ideas to support the national economy in the future. The Wirausaha Merdeka Program is carried out for 6 months starting from July to December 2022. Starting with seminars and workshops, internships, proposal preparation, pitching, and the culmination of activities at the entrepreneurial expo. The impact of this program is the development of student knowledge, especially regarding the concept of entrepreneurship as a foundation for starting a business, changes in the mindset of students by trying to create opportunities to live and work with an entrepreneurial spirit, the formation of a new ecosystem that is more complex to grow and develop to create an environment conducive to business growth
