Abstract
Indonesia has a diversity of ethnicities, cultures, religions and customs which have given rise to various ways and practices in implementing mutual cooperation. Gotong royong also involves collaboration between different generations. Indonesian society is diverse in terms of generations consisting of young, adult and elderly generations. In mutual cooperation, the older generation can transmit the values of mutual cooperation to the younger generation, while the younger generation can provide energy and fresh ideas in carrying out mutual cooperation today. By implementing a culture of mutual cooperation at school, students will learn the values of cooperation, helping each other, and caring for others. In this study we used the literature review method on various studies regarding the implementation of mutual cooperation in schools. For a culture of mutual cooperation within the school itself, schools can hold regular mutual cooperation activities, where students, teachers, and staff work together to clean the school environment, tidy up classrooms, or make small repairs at the school.
