Abstract

Education is an effort to guide the strength of each child to be able to grow and develop as a human being. In education, both normal children and children with special needs are entitled to the same education. Children with special needs are mentally impaired who have a delay in the functioning of intelligence in general or below average and inability in adaptive behavior. Currently, learning still uses books and teaching aids, as well as currently the school is implementing a new curriculum, namely Merdeka Belajar. where in learning activities teachers must work hard in implementing them several methods have been used but still do not attract attention. Therefore, a more fun technique is needed, namely by playing. This study aims to create an educational game for the introduction of plant parts which is expected to provide new techniques to teachers so that it is easy to implement the Merdeka Belajar curriculum so as to create a pleasant atmosphere for students in teaching and learning activities. In addition to collecting data by observation and interviews, in developing games using the GDLC (Game Development Life Cycle) method. In the creation of the game used the application Construct 2. From the results of this study, it is concluded that video game applications can be published because they are well received by users as evidenced by quite satisfactory results with an average percentage of 82.75%.
