Abstract
Sleman Regency in the Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the areas that has a threat to volcanic disasters where in Sleman Regency there is Mount Merapi. The existence of damage to an area or village makes its residents evacuate to an evacuation site for a while. One of the services provided by the government to refugees is the provision of logistical needs. The management of logistical assistance is guided by BNPB regulation number 23 of 2014 concerning standardization of disaster management logistics. Logistics needs need to be studied and analyzed so that the objectives of this study are 1) Calculating logistics needs during a disaster in a volcano risk area for the eruption of Mount Merapi in Sleman Regency. 2) Analyzing the distribution of special logistics needs in medium and high risk areas for Mount Merapi disaster in Sleman Regency. This research uses secondary data in the form of disaster risk index data and population data in affected villages. The calculation in this study uses specific parameters such as population, Disaster Risk Index, estimated duration of disaster events (72 hours / 3 days), and what needs must be met. The calculation of special logistics needs adds a list of each main package need to be more detailed. The results of this study show that logistical assistance was distributed to 12 villages with high risk, and two villages with moderate risk. General logistics needs include food, clothing, shelter, death, and other logistics. The most general logistics needs for food were 984 packages in Wukirsari Village, and the least was 316 packages in Kepuharjo Village. There were the same number of logistics needs among the logistics needs for clothing, shelter, and others where the most packages amounted to 246 in Wukirsari Village, and the least number of packages amounted to 79 in Kepuharjo Village. Death packages amounted to one or two in each village. The distribution of logistical needs is based on the population and the risk status of the volcano, where the more the population, the more the logistical needs will be. Most of the West side of the affected area requires a lot of logistics due to the large population. The East side of the study area has little logistical needs because most of the residents have been relocated due to damage to their homes during the 2010 eruption. Efforts to fulfill logistics needs can be made by monitoring the population of affected villages and monitoring the availability of logistics in logistics warehouses.
