Abstract

The transformation of technology plays a crucial role in enhancing efficiency across various sectors, including the field of education. Despite SMK Muhammadiyah Gubug being equipped with a Light Vehicle Engineering laboratory, the utilization of technology in laboratory management has not fully reached its potential. The management of laboratory items still relies on manual methods, which can lead to delays and the risk of errors in handling information. Therefore, the objective of this research is to design and implement an Information System for the Light Vehicle Automotive Engineering Laboratory at SMK Muhammadiyah Gubug. The development of this system utilizes the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language and the MySql database through the Waterfall development method. System testing is conducted using the Black Box approach and User Acceptance Test. Although the test results show a 75% acceptance rate, there are still some aspects that need improvement to enhance the functionality and responsiveness of the system in the next development phase. Thus, it is expected that this system can meet the criteria set for the objectives of software design.
