Abstract

Background: Improving the health of individuals, families, communities and the environment is greatly influenced by how a person is able to carry out daily clean and healthy living behavior. Healthy behavior that is carried out every day can protect a person from various diseases, especially infectious and contagious diseases. One of the infectious diseases that is currently of concern to the world is the corona virus or what is usually called covid-19. Objective: To find out the differences in people's behavior before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: Pre-Experimental research type with One Group Pretest�Posttest Design. 57 respondents were found to observe their level of knowledge about PHBS using a before and after questionnaire. This research instrument uses a knowledge level questionnaire sheet. Data collection was carried out by providing an understanding of health, especially PHBS, then giving questionnaire sheets to respondents before and after. The data analysis used was the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test. Results: The results of the hypothesis test show a probability value of 0.001 so it can be concluded that there are differences in PHBS in society before and after the Covid-19
