Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has various kinds of governing laws and regulations. One of them is the Law. The law itself is one of the laws and regulations formed by the House of Representatives (DPR) with the mutual consent of the President. In addition, the Law also has a high legal equal position for the people of Indonesia. In 2020 the House of Representatives (DPR) passed the latest law, namely Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. However, in issuing this latest law, there are many pros and cons from legal experts to the public. Therefore, many from Legal Entities, Legal Experts, and the public have submitted applications to the Constitutional Court regarding Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. The purpose of this study is to find out what exactly is the reason for the creation of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation and analyze the decision of the Constitutional Court related to Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. This paper uses a doctrinal approach, a type of descriptive research, secondary data in the form of Constitutional Court decisions related to Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation, data collection methods in the form of literature studies, and data analysis methods using qualitative data analysis techniques.
