Abstract

This research aims to test the impact of adding activated carbon in different amounts (0 gr, 10 gr, 20 gr, and 30 gr) to the waterblock cooling system on the performance of the thermoelectric generator. The experimental process involved several tests, such as temperature differences, electric current output, and efficiency. Tests by adding 10 grams of activated carbon produced high electrical power, whereas when adding 30 grams of activated carbon, the resulting electrical power was low. The addition of 30 grams of activated carbon results in the creation of a large electric current, the addition of 20 grams of activated carbon produces a high voltage, and if there is no additional active carbon, the result is high efficiency.
